Our engagement menus are built around what the Macedon Ranges does best, fresh seasonal produce, regional growers, and dishes that strike the balance between celebratory and genuinely good. The catering is handled in partnership with Harvest & Soul, a Macedon Ranges providore and catering team we work alongside year-round, with over two decades of regional events experience behind every menu.
You can choose from a traditional set menu, a share-style banquet, a seafood-led celebration, or a modern Australian seasonal menu. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and other dietary requirements are handled as a matter of course — every guest at the table is properly looked after, not just accommodated.
A Setting Made for the Photos
Engagement parties have a way of becoming the first proper family photo album for the years to come. The setting matters more than most couples realise until they look back.
We're set on the grounds of Gisborne Golf Club, sweeping fairways, native bushland, soft natural light through the day, and the occasional mob of kangaroos at dusk. The space itself is open and warmly lit, with floor-to-ceiling natural light during lunch and a comfortable, considered atmosphere by night.
For couples bringing both families together, often from different cities or even different countries, the change of pace from CBD venues is immediate. People arrive, park easily, and within ten minutes the conversation is flowing. The venue carries a lot of the work, leaving the celebration to do what it should.

Booking Your Engagement Party
Engagement party dates fill up faster than most couples expect, particularly Saturdays through spring and autumn. We recommend enquiring at least 8–12 weeks before your preferred date, and earlier if your celebration needs exclusive venue hire.
Sundays, Fridays, and weekday evenings often have better availability and a more relaxed atmosphere — and many couples find midweek dates make travel and accommodation easier for guests coming in from out of town.
