We host christenings, baptisms, and naming days for groups of 20 to 150 guests. Intimate family lunches, share-style family celebrations, and full exclusive venue hire for larger gatherings all work, the right option depends on your guest list and the atmosphere you'd like.

Traditional church-based christenings and baptisms are typically held at your local parish, with the celebration lunch following at our venue. For families holding a secular naming day or a parent-led ceremony, we can accommodate a brief ceremony within the venue before the lunch begins.

Yes. We welcome christenings, baptisms, naming days, welcome-to-the-family celebrations, and other secular family gatherings. Our venue and approach work for families of every tradition (or none).

Yes. Children's menus, high chairs, easy-access seating, and accommodations for prams and capsules are all standard at our venue. Our team takes care of the practical detail so parents can actually enjoy the lunch.

We recommend booking 8–12 weeks ahead of your preferred date. Saturday lunches in spring and autumn, long weekends, and December dates often book 3–4 months in advance. Weekday lunches and Sundays outside peak weekends typically have better availability.

Yes. Exclusive venue hire is available for larger christening celebrations — typically groups of 100 or more. This gives your family the full venue with no other diners, and lets us tailor the entire day to your celebration.

Yes. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, kosher considerations, halal considerations, and other dietary needs are handled as part of our standard service. Please let us know when confirming your booking so we can prepare accordingly.

Yes. Free, ample on-site parking is available right at the venue entrance. There's no long walk from the car park, which makes a real difference for grandparents, godparents, and parents arriving with babies and small children.

Christening celebrations work best as daytime lunches — the natural light, the relaxed pace, and the easier travel home for guests with young children. We do also accommodate later afternoon and early evening celebrations if that suits your family better.
